Why it matters
Brand awareness is how known your brand is among the people who matter, whether they recognise it and whether it comes to mind when they have the problem you solve. It shapes which vendors get considered at all, much B2B buying starts with a shortlist of brands already known. Awareness is the top of the funnel before any funnel.
What good looks like
Awareness is measured by recognition and recall within your target market, not by broad, untargeted reach. Being known by the wrong people is not useful, the goal is being top of mind for your specific buyers.
