Sales and Marketing SLA
Also: SLA
An agreement between sales and marketing on mutual commitments, how many qualified leads marketing delivers, and how fast and thoroughly sales works them.
Why it matters
Most sales-marketing friction comes from mismatched expectations; an SLA makes the commitments explicit on both sides, so leads are not dropped and finger-pointing is replaced by accountability.
What good looks like
A working SLA defines the lead quality and volume marketing commits to, the speed and rigor of follow-up sales commits to, and the shared metrics both teams are held to.
