Why it matters

Firmographics are to companies what demographics are to people: the basic descriptors that define a B2B segment. They are the backbone of an ICP and the filters behind most account targeting and list building. They tell you which companies fit before you look at behaviour.

What good looks like

The right firmographics are the ones that actually predict fit and value for your product, often industry, employee count, and revenue band, plus geography. Collecting attributes that do not change your targeting just adds noise.
