Intent Data

Also: Buyer Intent DataIntent Signals

Signals that an account is actively researching a problem or category, used to reach buyers while they are in-market.

Why it matters

Intent data tries to answer the timing question: which accounts are looking right now? It lets you focus outreach on companies showing research activity rather than cold lists. Reaching a buyer during active research is far more effective than reaching them at random.

What good looks like

Intent data is valuable when the signals genuinely predict in-market behaviour and you can act on them quickly. Stale or noisy intent, or signals you cannot act on within days, adds little. Quality and freshness of the source matter most.

In the European market

Intent data is patchier and more constrained in Europe than in the US, because the third-party tracking that powers much of it runs into privacy and cookie-consent limits. Expect lower coverage and accuracy for EU accounts, and be careful about the provenance and lawful basis of any intent signals you buy. First-party signals from your own channels are often more reliable and more defensible.
